Automatic Sluice Gates: He patented a system of automatic floodgates in 1903, which was first installed at the Khadakwasla reservoir near Pune. This innovative design was a significant advancement in water management and was later replicated in other dams.
Flood Protection System: He was instrumental in designing a flood protection system for the city of Hyderabad, an engineering feat that protected the city from recurrent flooding.
